The bad news - you are falling.
The good news - there is no ground.

The night was long and I didn't have a chance to see all the acts, the crowd was very big as all the local people was going to expose themselves to the avant-garde world of contemporary experimental music.

Mr. Potter is a really hard-worker, with his equipment he was trying make a musical world of his own and with very developed skills and big experience I bet he has more techniques and methods to succeed in that than any other musician I know. Moreover, what can be more interesting than to do it with Andrew McKenzie? Another no-limit stalker. For me this is the history happening so I cannot judge by just esthetics. I like what they did very much, and for me it will be impossible to separate the chicken from the egg, the performance from the impression. The nature of it was spontaneous and interactive. Besides his 'usual' talking, Mr. McKenzie did play some musical instruments this time! Mr. Potter was trying to smash the walls with his sounds providing directions and misdirection’s. Therefore, I do not have a clue of what is happen there.

Nevertheless, maybe nothing came out from this night performance at all. Maybe I just missed the point or dreamed it. It seems that what they try to say is that imagination is more important and practical than local conditions, the mood-state, or the amount of beer you drank before. The only man who stay sober for all night was H3O. He concentrate and center himself without a need for any stimulation except, maybe, breathing.

Many thanks to Moontrix Corporation for organizing this event and provide accomodation for author of this blog.

Anodyne IV

I never really went for chasing dance music but this album is remarkable. To describe a music in poetic terms might not be the best way to frame it but in just the right amount of bass, hats and noises are born harmony that is beautiful, dark, eccentric and close to me and my life. I wish I would be able to summarize it in some act or less in distribution of some sense but this days to me it is very unlikely from where I am now. To show my appreciation I decide to write this review.

The beauty that arose from dreams of musician is something I cherish. I like it to have this final statement that is visible in overall composition. And this might be far from any academic or professional view of what music is, but some music are made to be listened to and this album is definitely of this kind. What dreams can deliver the most intricate situations sometimes don't. I adore the atmosphere of this album it is striving towards unknown. This unknown for me is the interesting part of today map where everything is seemingly on the plain sight.

thee voodoo music

Such a wonderful and pushing forward music, perfomance and historical paradigm.

I told you I was ill...

You saw my pointer or few good mixes

Recent summer is so rich for good dance music, I can not hesitate to share it any more:

Dave Hanal is one of my favorite DJs. He is always impressed me with his touch of rare humor.

I am following Quinoline Yellow for quite some time since his EPM podcast. Oh my, just listen to this! Some BoC inside!

This is the dark side of the moon I am no exactly sure how danceable this is for you, but worth listening IMO. Talking of quality this is excellent.

I just discover through Discogs that Universal Indicator re-released some years ago in Japan and the card attached to CD contain access to this mix. Perfect Rephlex house, enjoy!

Zoviet France A Duck On A Tree

A Duck in a Tree 2014-07-05 | Turn Left, and Left Again - Second Anniversary Special - Part 1 by :Zoviet*France: on Mixcloud

Since I was a teen Am being engaged to do a blending of music genres and concrete - dance music collages. Like Yves or Stokhausen my ears was popping towards combinations that at large was the mirror of the modern city soundscapes. Some kind of Kosmic music of the space traveller.  All the critics all the time claiming how much this is 'unnatural' music they are really make me a laugh. And I reminded of that Buckminster Fuller quote again, namely If it isn't nature permitable you can not do it,

Now when all the information that is ever been made is available, hunting for new is becoming increasingly boring because there is always another suggestion. The ecology of information consumption now is in danger and it is especially pleasing that all of  the Zoviet France podcasts being an 'old'  fused with very 'new'. And I am really glad that some of the pioneers of the whole genre is doing what I always gravitated towards.

Few words about podcast itself:

All the esthetics are really wonderful. Weird lo-fi artwork, digital noises right next to taped ambience next to BBC archives recordings. And it all distributed trough digital ocean of iTunes, mixcloud, pod bean etc. making them finally useful.  All the episodes are linked with intro and outro jingles.
All the best ingredients, you know...

I am a compulsive listener and if I see a work in progress I am delighted. More then one hundred episodes done and counting. That is bigger than my imagination capacities. And all of that for free!
And I am still listening, in the dark and in the headphones, through my phone speakers or trough some more elaborate equipment and it always works.
